Really lovely staff, helped with ever single request I had. Accommodated my super late 10:30pm check-in due to cancelled train. Typical cheap Indian accommodation, but was a real treat coming from a night in Paharganj! The best place to stay if you're going to Taj Mahal for sunrise. Food is standard fare, hearty food for a cheap price though. Staying here made a bad day better!

Agra, the epitome of beauty and grandeur, encapsulates...
Agra, the epitome of beauty and grandeur, encapsulates centuries of history within its walls, and at its heart lies the breathtaking wonder, the Taj Mahal. My recent visit to this iconic city left me in awe of its unparalleled splendor and historical significance.
The Taj Mahal, a masterpiece of Mughal architecture, stands as a testament to love and devotion, its white marble facade glowing ethereally in the sunlight. As I wandered through its meticulously crafted gardens and gazed upon its majestic domes and minarets, I was overwhelmed by a sense of wonder and reverence.
But Agra's beauty extends far beyond the Taj Mahal. The Agra Fort, with its imposing red walls and intricate design, offers a glimpse into India's rich heritage and storied past. Exploring its labyrinthine corridors and opulent palaces was like stepping back in time, each stone whispering tales of emperors and empires.
And then there are the vibrant markets and bustling streets of Agra, where the city's vibrant culture comes to life. From the colorful bazaars filled with handicrafts and souvenirs to the aromatic food stalls serving up mouthwatering delicacies, every corner of Agra is a feast for the senses.
But perhaps what struck me most about Agra was the warmth and hospitality of its people. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with smiles and kindness, making me feel welcome and at home in this enchanting city.
In conclusion, Agra is not just a destination; it's an experience that leaves an indelible mark on the soul. Whether you're a history buff, a culture enthusiast, or simply someone in search of beauty and inspiration, Agra has something to offer everyone. I cannot recommend it highly enough – a true gem of India that deserves to be explored and celebrated.

It is very sad that such a beautiful and historic place is in such a bad condition. Dirty and stinking everywhere. People are not welcoming, everyone is dying to steal you, cheat you, fool you and take money out of you. No one cares about hospitality. I feel sorry for Taj Mahal and other beautiful historic building that they are in wrong hands.

With only one day available on a busy itinerary it had to be the Taj Mahal. Get up early and have a snack, then get to the ticket office for 6.15. (Gates open at 6.30) - at least they did in February.
If we'd had a bit more time, then Agra fort would have been worth a visit.
One place to relax is a small rooftop bar called Treat up the steepest, narrowest staircase ever. Great to watch the world go by with a cold beer and a wide selection of reasonably priced food.

The three classic monuments in and around Agra all lived up to expectations. Despite the fact that Taj Mahal is so well known from pictures, visiting it at sunrise still made an enormous impact. The Red Fort in Agra is also impressive, though it is by no means the only fort from that period in the area. Fatehpur Sikri (about an hour away from Agra) is definitely worth a visit, perhaps because it was conceived as a city and not just as a fort.

Agra is a beautiful city and there are many attractions in...
Agra is a beautiful city and there are many attractions in addition to the Taj Mahal. Because it is a serene and lovely city with wide roads and footpaths for easy walking, seeing some of the monuments and forts here can be more relaxed than in other busy cities.
Management of entry into the Taj Mahal and the Baby Taj and Agra Fort are easy and well organised.
There are lovely places to eat and unique parks like Selfie Point if you like pretty lights and photos.
A full two day or three day stay is time well spent here.
The hotel is clean and wonderfully maintained. Our room was comfortable and the food selection at breakfast and dinner was excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. They helped us organise a tour of the Taj Mahal and our transport to the train station (plus generally being happy to help with any questions we had about sightseeing etc.). The new Agra Metro is directly outside the hotel and is a great way to access the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort without having to deal with traffic (also very easy to use).
We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and the owner, Larif, was very kind. He helped me with train ticket booking in advance of our trip and also provided us with many suggestions to make our stay more enjoyable.
All the staff at this hotel were polite and hospitable. They will always be like brothers to me, and I feel like a member of their family.
The room was very clean and had a pleasant fragrance.
If you plan to visit Agra, I recommend staying at this hotel in Shaka.
Very clean and comfortable homestay in Agra. The room was modern and high ceiling. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered the dinner from the hotel. They cooked delicious food right in front of us. The next early morning we went to Taj Mahal to catch the sunrise. it was dark when we walked outside, so we took tuk tuk. It was just few minutes to arrive west gate. Very like this homestay, will highly recommend to anyone who is going to visit Agra.
Our experience at Village Homestay Agra was absolutely fantastic. The family who owns and operates the hotel is incredibly welcoming and dedicated to ensuring guests have a great stay. Dheeraj Sir's passion for excellent customer service, along with his father's support, is truly commendable.
If you are looking for a real Village experience in budget then surely go for it
I have been with my son in Agra and we stayed at the Gupta Vilas. Very good location, not far from the Taj Mahal. The family, operating the hotel are extremely nice, positive and helpful. The home-made food is excellent as well as the rooms, the view from the roof is very nice. You can see the Taj Mahal.
When going again to Agra I will for sure stay at the Gupta Vilas.
The hotel was very nice and lovely. The rooms were really clean and the bathrooms were really clean as well. More importantly the reception and customer service were really helpful. Took really good care of us and checked us in and out and provided us with an early breakfast as we were leaving early. They help you with knowing Agra so you can enjoy the city as well.
Really good location near to the Taj. The room and outdoor space is really nice to chill out.
Lovely courtyard with lots of plants the breakfast outside was great and amazing view of the Taj from the roof top was an added bonus.
The hotel team helped with Taj & Agra fort tour guide as well as local train booking.

They charged 8k without break fast and it's online price is 3500 this is haritage property so they do not follow any protocol I don't like anything in this hotel please don't waste your money
My stay at Goyal Hoteliers was nothing short of amazing! The staff was courteous and attentive, and the hotel's proximity to Taj Mahal made sightseeing a breeze. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Agra!
I was on vacation and happened to wind up in Agra. Our four-person family had a great time here for a week. Service, price, and warmth of the workers were all amazing. If you're heading to Agra, book a hotel here.
The hotel is really need and clean. This was the best hotel i visited during my visit to Agra. Good Hospitality, nice view , good food. I will strongly recommend it.
